It is estimated that someone in the United States has a stroke every 40 seconds, and every 4 minutes, someone will die from stroke. Are you prepared if this were to happen to you? How can you lower your risk for stroke? In recognition of May as National Stroke Awareness Month, Dr. Johansen will educate us about the signs and symptoms of brain emergencies, the most important steps for the prevention of these emergencies, and provide a glimpse into her exciting research on the heart-brain connection.
