The 2022 awardees, Dr. Alexis Battle and Dr. Sarah Hörst, will present their research and how they will use the award to enhance their research endeavors. Join us for this fantastic event honoring the brilliant work of our award recipients, opened by Provost Sunil Kumar with introductions from Christopher Celenza, James B. Knapp Dean, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and Larry Nagahara, Vice Dean for Research, Whiting School of Engineering. There will be an opportunity for Q&A after the talk. Denis Wirtz, Vice Provost for Research, will provide closing remarks.
The President's Frontier Award was established with a $2.5 million donation from trustee Louis J. Forster to support exceptional scholars among the Johns Hopkins faculty transforming their fields. Award recipients receive $250,000 to further fund their work.
